Ms. Rhonda

The early years.....

My youngest brother was born when I was in first grade so I was always helping my mom from a very early age!

I started 'sitting' for all the younger kids in my neighborhood by age 12!

My dad had 12 brothers and sisters so grew up surrounded by family and developed a love for having a family centered life.

After I was married and had my first child, I started helping other friends out with their kids. When Cory and Ashley started school, I went to work for a law firm and stayed there until my pregnancy with Tyler.

When Tyler was born I was unable to part with him, choosing instead to bring other children into my home!

Of course this wasn't a hard decision to make ... how many other professions include the daily perks of children's laughter, wide eyed innocence and all the hugs and kisses you could handle?!

NOT JUST A BASEBALL MOM..... some useful experiences....

Although a dedicated childcare provider, I am a veteran MOM. I kiss 'boo-boos', snuggle during story time, give piggy back rides, paint with my fingers, sing children’s songs, setup the most amazing Hot Wheel Track, practice ABC's bake homemade treats, enjoy the sprinkler/water balloons in the summer... playing in the snow and making GREAT snow families! I believe in FUN FUN FUN! :)

I have childcare experiences with Autism, Attention Deficit Disorder, Hyperactivity, Speech Therapy and Asthmatics.

I also have hundreds of hours  in infant and toddler related training courses which include:

• Safety
• Nutrition
• Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect
• Discipline and Behavior Management
• Child Growth and Development
• Early Childhood Care and Education
• Healthy Environments
• Safe Toys and Safe Spaces
• Family Relationships
• Illness In Childcare
• Menu Magic

I am active in community events  and volunteer for CHOA. I was team mom for my sons baseball team many years.

I was an assistant brownie leader and always the mom that went on the field trips!

I am an artist and have taught many classes and given private lessons. I love expression through creativity! I am an avid photographer and take more pictures than I can ever usually print out!!!

I was the lead teacher for the Toddler program of a local  commercial Daycare for two years. I am CPR and first aid certified.

Hi,  I'm Ms. Ashley
In 2007 I left the stressful job in corporate banking to join Toddler Time. I have worked with my mom for 5 years and could not imagine a better 'job'. Every day is filled with adventure and chaos.
On March 1, 2011, I had my own child, Gavin. He is an amazing little boy and it is the greatest thing in the world to bring him to 'work' with me each day.  He loves being with his friends and I love getting to spend every day with him (and my mom!).

Tyler
Tyler is my youngest son. He grew up in Norcross and went to Norcross High School. He left with a scholarship to play baseball at Northwest Shoals in Alabama. After his two years there he signed with Ole Miss! We are incredibly proud of him.
All the kids at Toddler Time love Tyler so much. He gives them baseball lessons each summer.
