Daily Schedule

Planning an good routine for a daycare setting can build a solid foundation and foster healthy development in young children.

Our schedule has been developed to accommodate children of various age groups. With the exception of meals or quiet times it allows for flexibility and the times listed below are approximate. Not wanting to waste an opportunity we allow for unplanned events or activities that better fit your child’s needs.

  • Routines are emotion regulators
  • Shape habits of behavior
  • Offers emotional security

  • Psychological stability
  • Builds self esteem
  • Easier transition into school

Our snacks and lunch are a time that we enjoy together as a group so that we may practice table manners, socialization skills and share stories. If your child will be arriving late please be sure to feed them at home.

Large motor development and outdoor play is a wonderful part of our day, parents are responsible for providing the appropriate attire for all weather conditions.

You will notice that, just like at home, diapering and washroom breaks are not "scheduled". Diapers are checked every 1 1/2 hours for wet/dry, while BM's are changed immediately.

Potty trainers are watched for cues and provided regular encouragement, reminders and opportunities for washroom visits.

We also will provide, (as often as possible), you with a daily routine sheet on your child. This will include information on their eating and toilet training
