Although we are not privileged to see into the accounting practice followed by different Home Daycares or
Childcare Centers, we can supply the following information as to where the fee's families enrolled with Toddler Time pay into....
So... for those who are interested and have the patience to read through it, here is our rundown!
At Toddler Time your family is guaranteed quality childcare in and extended family environment. While registered
in our daycare, you pay per "position/spot", meaning your child's place is held and I will not cover their absence with drop-in
clientele
So what does your fee include at Toddler Time??
Extra utilities costs are incurred by running a childcare.
Furniture/Home maintenance, and repair - lots of wear and tear is involved with operating a daycare.
Cleaning supplies- we strive to maintain and keep a very clean an orderly space for your child
Healthy and diverse lunches and snacks that are nutritionally sound. (You should SEE the grocery bill)
General Supplies: paper products, soap, hygiene supplies, first aid supplies, bug sprays, all the little extras
that you know we will have!
Equipment: All the items for the Preschool/Toddler program... all the storage shelves, bins, potties, tables/chairs.
Toys: Games, puzzles, dramatic play items, science, blocks, math games, legos dolls, trains, ride on toys... many items
which will be added to and updated regularly
Craft supplies: Glue, tape, paper, crayons, markers, paints, scissors, themed items and materials
Literacy materials: items such as books, music etc.
Preschool curriculum: for children 2-5
Computer/Printers: Programs for organization. Internet/Email, Paper, Ink Cartridges, all the files / folders and correspondence
for each family.
A safe learning environment.
